Car raid

Katie Duffy is a family friend of mine and my godmother. She drives a red 2010 Toyota Prius.

In the back seat I find food crumbs and a melted crayon on the seat. I also see a bag over one of the chairs. In the front seat I see a dirty tumbler used for coffee. There is also a notebook on the dashboard. In the trunk There are a few towels and a bit of mud. There is an air freshener hanging over the front mirror. The car is only lightly scratched. There are pencils in the back pockets and in some of the cup holders. There isn't much except a pocket knife and some bandaids in the glovebox. Overall, the car is fairly messy.

She is a middle aged woman and was born in Tennessee. She is a mother of two and volunteers a lot at her kids' schools.

Katie bought a prius to save money on gas while bringing her kids to different extra curriculum activities and also for volunteer work. She allows her kids to eat in the car when she is really busy. She also likes coffee a lot. Katie has the air freshener because all the mess makes her car smell bad. Her kids do swimming on the weekdays so the towels in the back are from them. because of the wetness, sometimes her kids are muddy as well. The crayon is from when her daughter was four. She has bandaids in the glovebox for when the kids inevitably get hurt. Katie has the pocketknife for whenever she needs to cut things or open something. The pencils are from her filling out paperwork and from her kids. Lastly, Katie has a bag in the back for the kids to carry items and such in.

Opinions Story

Going through life all tired is a nuisance, especially if you have 5 tests and 6 things to do outside of school.

I belive that school should start later in order to give students more time to sleep.

The Washington Post says that school should start no earlier than 8:30

AAP says that adolescents have an unusual sleep pattern that can cause sleep deprivation which leads to poor academic performance if they have to get up earlier

Because of this, I believe that many adolescent need all the help thaey can get grade wise, and if that means getting more sleep, then they should have it.

Part of the reason that I believe that many are reluctant to push later start times is that they feel like it's a waste of student time.

However, I feel that It is not a waste of student time if the school day starts later as if it's quality time spent, it's bettter than quantity time spent.

Also, I'd be willing to have a longer school day if I could just sleep in a bit more.

Students who have better sleep preform better accrosss the board, states the Huffington Post

If we want to have better preforming students, we will need to make a change to the way our school days are organized.

In order to make the shift, we need to start school days later.

Thereffore, we need to push away our woes and realize that we are bettering the necxt generation by doing this.

Warm-Up: iPhone 6s Photos

1) This is my favorite photo:

2) Most of these images do seem like they could be done with a phone, some of the faces are slightly fuzzy which is what makes it more believable that it is a phone.

3) It says they do not have apps being used, but the HDR used on some made the pictures look better.

4) I think I could have a better phone than a 5s but whatever. Both my parents' phones are 4s's and 4's so that doesn't help. I do use HDR on mine typically and correct color and use focus. I think I could continue doing it.
